ROUND 1, MATCH 10. Eiffel 65 – ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee)’ vs La Bouche – ‘Be My Lover’

The Eurodance 2021 contest continues with two more 90s pop classics, as Eiffel 65’s Blue (Da Ba Dee) goes head-to-head with La Bouche’s Be My Lover.
Italian group Eiffel 65 called their debut album Europop, and Blue (Da Ba Dee), first released in 1998, is a classic example of the genre, boasting a hypnotic hook and lyrics that describe the protagonist’s ‘blue world’. Be My Lover, released by German Eurodance act La Bouche, was released in 1995 and is the group’s biggest hit, selling six million copies around the world. But which is your favourite?
You can listen to both tracks below, and cast your vote – remember the poll closes in 24 hours, so get voting, and get sharing. More information on the competition, as well as the match schedule, can be found here.
