ROUND 1, MATCH 7. Black Box – ‘Ride On Time’ vs Jam & Spoon – ‘Right In The Night’ (Feat Plavka)

The next matchup in Eurodance 2021 features Black Box’s Italian house classic Ride On Time going up against Jam & Spoon’s Right In The Night.

Released in 1989, Ride On Time is the oldest participant in this year’s competition, but arguably one of the most timeless, thanks to its catchy piano hook and powerful vocals (originally sampled from Love Sensation by Loleatta Holloway).

Meanwhile, Jam & Spoon’s flamenco-influenced Right In The Night (Fall In Love With Music), to give the track its full title, was arguably the biggest commercial hit for the production duo, hitting number one in Finland, Greece and Spain and going top ten across the continent.
