‘Legacy is that intimate and partly made-up language: an endless array of rules, references, subtexts and private jokes that can only truly be understood within their own context,’ the organisers noted in a press release. ‘There are countless things that mean different things inside and outside Primavera Sound. There are even things that cease to mean what they used to mean when they come into contact with Primavera Sound.
‘All of this makes up an inimitable imaginary. A universe that cannot be replicated and that will continue to evolve from 2 to 6 June, around this line-up of 151 artists and bands who are undoubtedly part of the Primavera lexicon. ‘
In conjunction to the main festival Primavera Pro, the festival’s industry programme, will hold its 18th edition from 2–5 June at a new venue, DHub. The conference and showcase programme for Primavera Pro is still to be announced.
