Author Irvine Welsh has unveiled a series of remixes of tracks featured on his recent disco album, Men In Love, recorded alongside the Sci-Fi Soul Orchestra.
The album was released to coincide with the Men In Love novel – positioned as a direct follow up to Trainspotting, which came out 30 years ago. Remixes have already been released by Rob Davy, Nick Reach-Up vs Steve Mac and Greg Wilson, with the latest EP, out now on Port Sunshine Recordings, marking a new set of reimaginings.
The Men In Love (Reimagined EP3) includes remixes from Hilit Kolet, (of the track Dreams), Black Octopus (of Love At Last) and Renude19 & Alex Ball (also of Dreams).
Released last year, Men In Love was promoted through appearances on radio and TV, including BBC 6Music and Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, as well as receiving coverage in The Face, NME, Rolling Stone and The Independent.
The album reached number three in the Independent Album Breakers Chart, number 28 in the Independent Albums Chart and number 72 in the Physical Albums Chart.
