Mijk van Dijk is set to reissue the single More, remastered from the 1997 original, which featured on the album Glow.

The release, which is due to land on Superstition Records on 24 April, will feature several new versions of the track, including three Mijk van Dijk reworks – one of which is an instrumental – and a remix by Berlin producer Superstrobe, also known as Manuel Winkler, which has already received an airing at the Rave The Planet Parade in Berlin.

Glow was the first album to be Mijk van Dijk’s own name after a period of work under aliases including Microglobe, Marmion, and Loopzone.

As a press release put it, More represented ‘not just a track name. It was a manifesto. More freedom, more directions, more sounds. Instead of narrowing things down, Mijk chose the opposite path. His music could move wherever it wanted to go.’

The reissue seeks the track reinterpreted for a contemporary club context, and is a ‘time capsule from a moment when Berlin techno was busy reinventing itself’.
