Guy J has announced the release of a two-track EP, entitled A Moment of Clarity, which serves as a teaser to his forthcoming Global Underground mix, GU48: Cordoba, scheduled for release next month.
The EP features two tracks, A Moment of Clarity, which is described as ‘a deep, broody journey layered with sweeping pads, cascading twinkles and warm, organic piano keys’, and No Drama, which ‘takes a darker turn and is deeper, dubbier and more introspective’.
According to Global Underground, pre-orders for GU48: Cordoba have already exceeded expectations, with the forthcoming mix set to be released on CD, vinyl and digital formats.
Guy J’s DJ sets and productions are known for connecting melodic and rhythmic layers, a hallmark of his approach to progressive house – factors that are expected to feature on the GU48 mix.
