Róisín Murphy, Jon Hopkins, Jeff Mills, Booka Shade, Sugarhill Gang and Death In Vegas are among the first names announced for the 2025 edition of Beyond The Pale, which takes place at Glendalough Estate, Co. Wicklow, on 13-15 June 2025.
The annual ‘festival of music, arts, food and wellbeing’, which in our book gets better every year, has also confirmed an appearance by Samantha Mumba, for what will be her first Irish show in seven years.
Other artists scheduled to appear over the weekend include berlioz, Ezra Collective, Boney M, Soda Blonde, King Kong Company, Houseplants, The Furious Five, Sofia Kourtesis (live), Cassius, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Hunee, Halina Rice, Krystal Klear, Nick Warren, David August (DJ Set), Osees, Pom Pom Squad, Susan O’Neill, Fionn Regan, Horse Meat Disco, Zero 7 (DJ Set), Gotts Street Park, Paula Tape, Lemoncello, And So I Watch You From Afar, Moving Still, Fizzy Orange and Melodic DJs.
Commenting on her scheduled appearance at the festival, Wicklow native Róisín Murphy commented, “I’m coming home! Co. Wicklow born and bred. They call Wicklow ‘the garden of Ireland’ and world heritage site Glendalough is at its heart and soul. This will be a pleasure and a privilege.”
The festival will also feature the Acushla wellbeing area, including a spa experience, sweat house and massage yurt Tigh n’ Alluis, as well as extensive arts performances, and a variety of food options – details of which are still to be announced.
As author Irvine Welsh, a festival regular put it, “What a beautiful, essential event Beyond the Pale has already become…It’s more than a festival, it’s complete rehab from the nonsense of everyday life.”
