The festivities continue to celebrate fabric‘s 25th anniversary, with the news that techno titan Laurent Garnier is set to release a four-mix set soundtracking a night in the legendary London club.
fabric Presents Laurent Garnier features four mixes in four different genres, and has been over a year in the making. The first of its kind in the fabric Presents series, it will be released on 29 November on deluxe vinyl and CD, alongside a 4 track exclusive EP.
The set features a UK-bass focused mix, as well as house, techno and downtempo mixes, because “diversity makes it richer, makes it better,” as Garnier himself put it.
The House Odyssey mix opens with Afro house from Mr. Blasé and transitions through global house influences, spanning from South Africa to Chicago, with key contributions from Culoe De Song, DJ Spen, and Mike Dunn.
Next, the Rhythmic Resonance techno mix builds intensity with tracks from Red Axes, John Tejada, and Laurent Garnier, before the Into The Low-End mix honours fabric’s bass-heavy roots, showcasing artists like Skrillex, MC GQ, and Sami Virji.
Finally, the On The Way Home mix provides a mellow, downtempo close, featuring emotionally driven selections from Daudi Matsiko, Adriano Koch, and Melody Gardot.

“Clubs have been my second home since the start of my career,” he added. “Once you’ve witnessed that unique connection you can create in a club with a crowd, once you’ve experienced it from behind the decks, you just know you are where you’re meant to be.
“This special journey with fabric is of course a tribute to the legendary London club – a place that’s been a home to so many clubbers, DJs and music-lovers for so many years – but most of all, a tribute to all the dancefloors and all the clubs around the world.”
Garnier is also set to headline fabric’s Room 2 on 7 December, alongside Works Of Intent. Ron Trent and Serenda, will take the reins in Room 1, with Circa Groove, Thorgurder, Rupert Ellis and Will Mellor in Room 3. Tickets can be purchased here.
