Check out the latest episode of Trailblazers, featuring Arthur Baker

Following a catch up with Xavier de Rosnay of Justice last week, 909originals is proud to introduce the latest instalment of the Trailblazers podcast, produced by Deezer and presented by Eddy Temple-Morris and guest presenter Dom Butler of Stanton Warriors.

909originals will be hosting each new edition of the Trailblazers podcast series every Thursday, featuring artists, DJs and visionaries who played a fundamental role in the development of the electronic music scene.

The series was created by Eddy alongside regular co-presenter Nick Halkes. Nick, the former co-founder of XL Recordings and founder of Positiva Records, manages an impressive roster of electronic talent, while Eddy has been an established broadcaster for more than 20 years.

The third series of Deezer’s Trailblazers will feature the following:

Episode 1: Norman Jay MBE [CLICK HERE to listen]
Episode 2: Justice’s Xavier de Rosnay [CLICK HERE to listen]
Episode 3: Arthur Baker
Episode 4: MJ Cole
Episode 5: James Lavelle

Episode 7: Trevor Horn
Episode 8: Nick Halkes (f.t DJ Andy Smith)

This week sees a bona fide icon join Eddy and Dom, for what promises to be a fascinating conversation about more than 40 years in the music business – the legendary Arthur Baker.

Having cut his teeth on the DJ circuit in his native Boston in the 1970s, Baker went on to be one of the most sought-after producers and remixers throughout the decades that followed, and is best known for his work with New Order, Afrika Bambaataa, Planet Patrol and Hall & Oates, as well as his own productions.

So turn it up, and enjoy the conversation with a true maestro… 🙂
