John Digweed has announced the forthcoming release of Live at Twilo, a four-CD live recording of his set at a one-off Twilo reunion event held in March 2026.
In addition, a digital edition on Bandcamp will include the four continuous mixes, which will not be available on streaming platforms due to licensing restrictions.
The five-hour set, which marked the 25th anniversary of the legendary New York venue closing its doors, was recorded during Danny Tenaglia‘s birthday weekend celebrations.
“This was such a special night for me, and being invited back to play Twilo again, for Danny Tenaglia’s birthday weekend was a dream come true,” Digweed commented. “After listening back to the recording, I knew I had to release this set, which was so memorable for me and for so many people that had travelled far and wide to have one more dance in that incredible room. I hope that you enjoy my set as much as I did on the night.”
Twilo, located at 530 West 27th Street, played a central role in the development of electronic music in New York during the 1990s, with the monthly Sasha & John Digweed residencies – which often ran for eight hours or more – helping to establish progressive house in the United States.
The Live at Twilo mix features an array of artists associated with New York’s house scene, including Angel Moraes, Deep Dish and John Creamer & Stephane K, alongside more recent producers such as Frankey & Sandrino, Tom Pavicich, Yunus Guvenen and Rocco Rodamaal.
“I’ve been totally blown away by the reaction to the announcement of this album,” Digweed added. “The limited edition signed CD’s and Vinyl packs sold out in 10 days, which was just an amazing response to this release.”
John Digweed – Live at Twilo will be released on 24 July through Bedrock, available via the Bedrock online store. The digital edition will be available via Bandcamp.
