Nicole Moudaber has announced the launch of a new label, MoodCollective, which will be devoted exclusively to house and tech-house.
Launching later this month, the new imprint marks a new chapter in the DJ and producer’s career, following ten years at the helm of her InTheMood brand.
“People know me for techno, but I’ve always played and loved all different genres,” Moudaber commented.
“MoodCollective is my chance to create and explore the world of house and tech house further. It felt like the time was right for me to break down the genre barriers and create a new movement.”
According to a press release to announce the new label, MoodCollective will showcase both established and emerging artists, and is ‘committed to championing timeless grooves and forward-thinking talent’.
The label’s first release is set to land in late June, followed by a debut MoodCollective party taking place on 28 June at EXE Beach, Bulgaria. At the launch, Moudaber will be joined by VLTRA, the Sicilian tech-house duo and one of the label’s inaugural signees.
