Chris Liebing has announced a forthcoming two-track EP on his CLR imprint, Phantom Rider, which is set for release on 25 April.
The EP, which features the tracks Kaizen – described as boasting ‘pounding drums, cavernous dub chords, and a razor-sharp snare-laden groove’ – and the 303-laden Wailer, follows on from Liebing’s recent remake of Emmanuel Top’s Turkish Bazar, which was a notable release for CLR at the end of last year.
The new EP has already received support from the likes of Daniel Avery, GiGi FM and Jon Hester.
Chris Liebing’s CLR label was initially founded in 1999, and following a five-year hiatus in the mid part of the last decade, the techno titan announced the return of the label in 2021.
Since its return, the label has released tracks by artists including Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, Bjarki, and DJ Dextro, as well as being a platform for rising talents such as Risa Taniguchi, The Southern, and Klint.
Chris Liebing – Phantom Rider will be released on 25 April. More information is available here.
