Last October, Altern 8 announced plans to embark on a 35th anniversary tour in 2025, and now, as the new year kicks off, the first dates for that tour have been announced.
Highlights will include a back-to-back set with Shadow Child at KOKO, appearances at festivals like Shiiine On in Skegness and Altitude Festival in Devon, and shows at venues such as XOYO in Birmingham and Bowlers in Manchester.
Altern 8 will next appear at the Black Box in Hastings on 25th January, before a show at The Volks, Brighton on 7th February, and two shows in London (at The Steelyard and The Star of Kings) on 8th February.
February also includes a back-to-back set with Shadow Child at KOKO on the 15th and a live PA at the Ulster Sports Club in Belfast on the 21st.
March sees the tour stopping at Levels in Swindon and Coast Café in Worthing on the 1st, Bar 61 in Taunton on the 8th, The Legion in Huddersfield on the 15th, and Fuchs2 in Prague on the 21st. Altern 8 will also perform at the Shiiine On Festival in Skegness on the 28th.
April performances include Golden Daze at the Mint Lounge in Manchester on the 5th, Joy X Upstairs in Inverness on the 12th, and House of Legends at XOYO in Birmingham on the 19th. The month concludes with a performance at Industrial Copera in Granada on the 26th.
Altern 8 will return to Manchester for a live PA at Bowlers on May 3, followed by a show at the Ayr Pavilion on May 4. Additional dates in May remain to be announced.
The summer leg includes a live PA at Billy Bootleggers in Nottingham on June 7, appearances at Bexfest in Bexhill on July 5, a back-to-back set with Shadow Child at Homestead Festival on July 19, and a performance at Altitude Festival in Devon on July 26. The last confirmed date – so far anyway – is a show at The Pavilion in Nuneaton on August 24, with further dates yet to be announced.
Stay tuned, and remember – top one, nice one, get sorted! 🙂 Read more here.
