Crazy P have unveiled their ninth studio album, Any Signs Of Love, which was written and recorded before the passing of vocalist Danielle Moore.
The album was released on 29 November on Walk Don’t Walk, in association with !K7 Music.
It was completed earlier this summer, and following Moore’s passing, it has taken on a profound new meaning, according to a statement by the band.
“The album was finished in early March this year; Danielle left us in August,” they commented. “We miss her terribly and it only seems right that we release the record. We’re immensely proud of it, we know Danielle considered it to be some of our best work and would want the world to hear it. We hope you like it.”
The lead single, Human After All, which was released earlier this month, embodies the essence of Crazy P’s sound – and indeed Moore’s energy – with its upbeat, Italo-infused arpeggios, Balearic-inspired piano chords, and compelling vocals.
Other tracks on the album include Any Signs Of Love, Portals, System Failure, Not Too Late, Love Is Power, Mystify, The Revolution Will Not Be Anything, You Know How It Goes, and the album’s closer, the seductive, space disco Strange Affair.
Over the past 25 years, Crazy P has evolved from late-night sessions in 90s Manchester to headlining stages around the world, including at festivals like Glastonbury, Love International, and Glitterbox Ibiza.
Following the release, bandmates Chris Todd and Jim Baron will honour Crazy P’s upcoming tour commitments with DJ sets across the UK and Europe, including in London, Liverpool, Croatia and Dublin’s Pygmalion (on 2 February 2025).
