Milanese electronic duo Hunter/Game have released their third studio album, VISION, on their label Just This.

Milanese electronic duo Hunter/Game have released their third studio album, VISION, on their label Just This.

The release of the 10-track album by the duo, comprised of Martino Bertola and Emmanuele Nicosia, follows on from the release of three singles, Stars, Last Hour and All I Wanted, which dropped in May, July and October respectively.

It also follows on from their previous two long players, Adaptation, released in 2016, and Silence, which came out in 2019.

VISION, which features collaborations with Noah Kulaga, Ramverk, and Sailor & I, is described as transporting listeners ‘deep into their own reflective state of sonic exploration and experimentation’, in what is the pair’s ‘most thoughtful and complex body of work to date’.

The album also launches alongside a new audio-visual show, which debuted at London’s EartH on October 11, in partnership with fabric London. Further VISION shows are set to be announced in the coming weeks.

Commenting on the new album, Bertola and Nicosia said, “Our new LP, VISION, and the corresponding AV show is a project that we’ve been working on for while now. VISION explores the theme of our imaginary world and relates to how our music feels in this moment. We have the necessity to make something out of the frames of what’s current, whilst also trying to do something timeless.

“We are very focused on communicating to our listeners this imaginary world we created for VISION; a world coming from dreams, lights and a romantic relationship with music and the listeners.”

Hunter/Game – VISION is out now via Just This, and can be downloaded/streamed here.
