Sasha is continuing his run of successful partnerships by teaming up with Portable Minds head honcho Jody Barr on a new single, Phaxon, which is set to land on 25 October.
The two-track release, which is being released digitally and on vinyl on Sasha’s Last Night On Earth imprint, also features a remix from Hamburg-based producer Einmusik.
The partnership with Jody Barr follows on from Sasha’s recent tie-ups with Super Flu and Sentre on musical projects, as well as solo singles including Florian Drift and How to Wear Raybans Well.
Jody Barr has long had a working relationship with Last Night On Earth, as well as releasing on Krankbrother, Configurations Of Self and Nofitstate, along with Portable Minds.
Phaxon is described as ‘a beautifully elegant affair with shimmering chords rising and falling over a serene electronic groove. It’s packed with smart sound design and subtle touches that make it glow from start to finish as the emotions build and sweep you up into a delightful dance floor reverie.’
