Stage times announced for Mother Pride Block Party this weekend

The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin, will play host to two major Pride events this weekend – the Mother Pride Block Party, as well as the new Friday night opening party, Braza Block Party.

The Braza Block Party will get the weekend under way with co-headliners Pedro Sampaio and Gloria Groove, along with local artists celebrating Brazilian and queer culture (get your tickets here).

This will be followed by the annual Mother Pride Block Party, which kicks off at 4pm on Saturday, and will feature artists such as COBRAH, Princess Superstar (check out our recent interview with her here), Robin S, Sasha Velour, and Blu Hydrangea. Final tickets are on sale now, and can be purchased here.

Multiple bars will be set up throughout the site, featuring drinks from sponsors like Absolut, Heineken, and White Claw, while in an effort to minimise single-use plastic, reusable cups will be available for certain drinks, supported by Heineken.

The event will also feature a special appearance by Red Bull’s Unforeseen, Durex will be on site with its ‘My Sex/My Way’ initiative, promoting sexual empowerment; and the HSE will be present with its Safer Nightlife programme, including harm reduction outreach teams and drug checking services. Finally, Ireland’s national LGBTQ+ press, GCN, will be on-site selling merchandise throughout the weekend.
