AI-powered radio airplay monitoring solution Radiostats launched

Radiostats, an AI-powered radio airplay monitoring platform developed by Songstats, has just been launched, aiming to to improve how artists, labels, and promoters track radio plays globally.

According to Radiostats, traditional airplay monitoring has been inefficient and costly, with existing services typically charging high fees for tracking individual songs, as well as providing limited coverage.

This technology, in turn, does not scale well, requiring significant computational resources to monitor many songs and stations.

Radiostats promises to offer comprehensive tracking of all songs by monitoring entire catalogs across 40,000 stations worldwide, with the subscription-based service including a real-time activity feed, notifying users of major radio plays as they happen.

Elsewhere, an Audience tab visualises global radio impact, and further analytics are available for each song, artist, and label.

In addition, Radiostats integrates with the existing Songstats platform, allowing users to access radio insights on mobile devices, receive push notifications, and share radio milestones.

Radiostats covers terrestrial and digital radio, satellite TV, and SiriusXM, with all data, including station information, playtime, and duration, accessible via the desktop dashboard and mobile app. Users can export data as PDF and CSV reports, which can be submitted to performing rights organisations to claim potential earnings.

As a press release to announce the launch put it, ‘the team behind Radiostats worked hard to bring this new platform to market and wants to ensure that radio insights can empower every artist and label at the same convenience and value that they are used to with Songstats. And they did!’
