Orbital named among 11 new additions for Beyond The Pale 2024


Orbital have been named among the 11 new additions for this year’s Beyond The Pale festival, taking place at Glendalough Estate, Co Wicklow, from June 21–23.

The Hartnoll brothers, fresh from their performance at Coachella in recent weekends, will replace Soulwax on the festival lineup, with the Belgian rockers having cancelled their June tour – however Soulwax’s alter ego, 2ManyDJs, will still be playing the event.

Other new additions include Houseplants – the collaborative project of Paul Noonan of Bell X1 and Daithí – Royel Otis, Kara Jackson, Lemoncello, Shark School, Chris Wilson DC, Prymary Colours present Love Ball, Sing Along Social, Glasshouse Ensemble presents The Velvet Underground and Essiray.

Beyond The Pale has also revealed its day-by-day breakdown for this year’s festival, with the Friday night being headlined by Brit Awards winners Jungle, Jessie Ware headlining the Saturday, and YouTube sensation Marc Rebillet headlining on Sunday.

Day By Day Lineup

On Friday, June 21st, the lineup includes Jungle, Folamour, 2ManyDJs, Alvvays, Halina Rice, Rival Consoles, John Francis Flynn, Ailbhe Reddy, 808 State, Daithi, La Priest, Anna Mieke, Shark School, and more.

Saturday, June 22nd, features Jessie Ware, Orbital, Romy, Richie Hawtin, Helena Hauff, Houseplants, Obongjayer, Dimitri From Paris, Kelly Lee Owens, Kid Francescoli, Poolside, Hang Massive, 49th & Main, James Holden, Kara Jackson, Parra For Cuva, Fejka, Elaine Mai & Maykay, David Holmes, James Heather, Embrz, Chris Wilson DC, Prymary Colours presents Love Ball, Glasshouse Ensemble performing Velvet Underground, and a myriad of other names.

Finally, on Sunday, June 23rd, the lineup includes Marc Rebillet, Thievery Corporation, Courtney Barnett, The Scratch, Novo Amor, Tourist, Mount Kimbie, Gilla Band, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Royel Otis, Catching Flies, The Redneck Manifesto, Princess Goes, Irvine Welsh, Rachael Lavelle, Lemoncello, Sing Along Social, Trojan Soundsystem, Essiray and other artists.

“What a beautiful, essential event Beyond the Pale has already become,” commented author Irvine Welsh, who will be DJing at the festival on Sunday 23 June. “It’s more than a festival, it’s complete rehab from the nonsense of everyday life.”
