Krystal Klear unveils new EP, ‘Essentia/Winnies Karaoke’

Krystal Klear has unveiled a new EP on Gerd Janson’s Running Back label, Essentia/Winnies Karaoke, following on from the recent release of the Connect EP on the same imprint.

The four-track EP also features two remixes, a Sunrise Version of Essentia, featuring vocals from Soo Joo Park, and a Sundown Mix of Winnies Karaoke – a track that itself is named after a late-night bar in New York’s Chinatown.

Dublin native Krystal Klear, aka Dec Lennon, has been making waves in dance music since the start of the last decade, but his success was arguably elevated to another level with 2018’s Neutron Dance, also released on Running Back, which saw remixes from the likes of Paul Woolford, Mano Le Tough as well as label boss Janson.

He also runs the Cold Tonic label, and has released music on a variety of labels, including Unknown to the Unknown and Eglo.

The last time 909originals saw him perform was at the 2019 BeatYard festival in Dublin, where he took to the stage after no other than Greg Wilson – no easy feat – and took the party to another level… as he tends to do.

The new EP blends both dancefloor-focused and introspective moments, showcasing his dexterity as a producer. You can download it here.
