Long Island Sound unveil details of debut album, ‘Lost Connection’

Dublin production duo Long Island Sound have unveiled their first long player, Lost Connection, which will be released on Signs Of Space on 13 May.

The pair, Rob Roche and Tim Nolan, have been making music since 2015, and have hit their stride over the past couple of years, with Boiler Room and HÖR Radio appearances, as well as the recent First Contact EP on Hammer’s Remmah imprint.

Lost Connection features seven tracks, journeying through breaks, electro, techno and house – the standout track in our eyes is probably Fragments, a wild SH101 jam with a brooding bassline and breakbeat elements.

Long Island Sound – Lost Connection is released on 13 May.

Tracklist:

A1 Ataria
A2 Dusk
A3 Fragments
A4 Every Time I See Your Face
B1 Power
B2 Turbulence
B3 Lost Connection

Words by Márcia Costa.
