Global Underground announce details of Australia tour

Global Underground have announced details of a forthcoming tour of Australia in June, which will see Sasha, Danny Howells, James Zabiela and Anthony Pappa appear at venues in three different cities.

The tour begins on Friday 5 June at Northcote Social Club in Melbourne, before heading to Brisbane’s Eclipse for a daytime event. It concludes on Sunday 7 June at Selina’s in Sydney.

“We’re sparking up the great Global Underground tour bus and taking some of the world’s greatest DJs with us and heading down under for a series of spectacular curated events,” commented Andy Horsfield, Global Underground founder. “We’re really looking forward to heading to Australia in June and giving our loyal fanbase a banging GU party – see you on the dancefloor.”

The tour is taking place in association with TMRW Music, with Paul Azzopardi, the company’s international and domestic touring agent, adding that the collaboration with Global Underground feels like a “full circle” moment.

“The GU series and the artists associated with the label have played a huge role in shaping not only my own musical tastes, but those of an entire generation of Australians,” he commented. “We’ve had a long and proud history promoting these artists over many years, so bringing Sasha, Danny Howells, James Zabiela, and Anthony Pappa together for the first time on one lineup in Australia under the Global Underground banner is going to be incredibly special.”
