Wehbba has revealed details about his forthcoming album, Studio Dump, which is set to land on 30 May.

The HIFN founder has released the first two tracks from the album, Renn and Exit Time, with further tracks set to be unveiled over the coming weeks.

Each track on Studio Dump has been described as serving a specific moment – ‘some may disrupt a DJ set, others might reset the entire energy of a room, but none are made to fit into pre-existing moulds,’ as a press release put it. ‘The project is less about presenting a finished product and more about offering a direct window into the act of creation itself.’

In creating the project, Wehbba sought to echo the ‘photo dump’ trend that has emerged on social media, where users post unfiltered, spontaneous photos, without the pressure of curation or perfection.

‘The project doesn’t aim to be timeless — it simply wants to exist right now, as it is, with no pretensions or filters,’ as the release noted.

In the run up to the album’s release, Wehbba is offering exclusive behind-the-scenes content through his Patreon, with weekly updates including listening parties, studio footage, insights into the creation of the tracks, and personal reflections from Wehbba as he works through the project.
