Orbital have unveiled a new single, Deepest, a reimagining of the duo’s 1989 track Deeper, ahead of the reissue of their seminal Brown Album, in May.

Deepest features a spoken-word performance by actor Tilda Swinton, following on from her collaboration with the Hartnoll brothers at Glastonbury 2024.

Orbital’s Brown Album, originally unveiled in 1993, is set to be reissued on 23 May by London Records, across a range of formats, including a 4LP boxset, 4CD boxset, coloured and galaxy vinyl editions, 2CD, cassette, and digital.

As well as the original album, an additional 23 tracks will include rarities, remixes, and unreleased material, including remixes by Underworld, CJ Bolland, and Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia. Also included is a full live performance by Orbital at The Limelight in New York, dating from 1992.

Orbital will support the album reissue with a tour across Europe and the UK, continuing their Green & Brown Tour from last year. Following on from a recent performance at Brixton Academy in London, additional dates include live sets in Brighton, Rough Trade East, and Kingston (London) to coincide with the reissue weekend, as well as summer festival appearances at Paradise City (Belgium), BBK Live (Spain), Forest Fest (Ireland), and Wilderness Festival.
