Afro-house artist AMÉMÉ has launched a global remix competition for his recent single Power, featuring Mario Reyes.
The One Tribe label founder is calling on producers and DJs worldwide to put their own personal spin on the track, with the winning remix earning an official release on One Tribe Records, have their track played out by AMÉMÉ and other top-tier DJs, and join the lineup at the label’s NYC showcase this autumn at House of Yes, in Brooklyn.
The stems are being released on 19 March, with submissions due on 11 April. The winner will be announced in late April following AMÉMÉ’s return from Coachella.
As a press release put it, ‘Think you’ve got what it takes? This is a rare chance to transform this club hit into something fresh and unique.’
