Luke Slater has announced details of a new compilation, Reassembled, which will feature ‘reimagined’ tracks from his Planetary Assault Systems back catalogue.
Artists including Oscar Mulero, Len Faki, Chlär, Rene Wise and Luke Slater himself have reworked tracks for the compilation, which is released on 28 March on Mote-Evolver, in both vinyl and digital formats.
Each contributor has brought elements of their signature approach to the reshaped compositions – Len Faki reworks Give It Up, Chlär offers up a new take on Strange Attractor, Rene Wise serves up his take on Raid, Oscar Mulero dishes up two versions of Surface Noise, and Luke Slater reworks Engage now To Surface, Desert Races and Rip The Keys.
‘Following on last year‘s 5th volume of the Deep Heet series, UK techno‘s front runner Luke Slater committed to cutting-edge, thought-provoking sounds teamed up with renowned names to reassemble tracks from PAS’ long standing opus and recent releases,’ as a press release to announce the compilation put it.
Planetary Assault Systems – Reassembled is released on 28 March and can be pre-ordered here.
