Released on 7 March, the 16-track album is described as a ‘tribute to the storied past and present of dance music and rave culture’, and features collaborations with artists such as Kerri Chandler, Goldie, MJ Cole and more.

The title track, for example, We Lost Ourselves And Found A Family, sees Eats Everything partner with Goldie to explore the atmosphere of early 1990s illegal raves, while The Deeper sees Kerri Chandler drop wise words over a classic deep house groove.

“This album is an encapsulation of my experiences with dance music throughout the ages,” commented Eats Everything, aka Dan Pearce. “I touch on almost every genre, from d’n’b to boogie. Some of it’s for the dancefloor, some of it’s not. There are twists and turns, some beautiful stuff, and some gnarly stuff. I’ve collaborated with heroes of mine.

“It’s been a long time coming, with many pitfalls and ups and downs, but it’s ultimately been a labour of love.”

The album follows the success of Upside Down, Eats Everything’s 2024 edit of a Diana Ross classic, which received approval from songwriters Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards.

Eats Everything recently kicked off his residency at XOYO in London, featuring artists such as MJ Cole, Dr Dubplate, and Storm Mollison, while his upcoming schedule includes performances at ANTS events in Melbourne, Sydney, and Bali, as well as appearances at Kaleidoscope Festival in London, Hideout Festival in Croatia, and Brooklyn Mirage in New York. He is also set to return to Ibiza this summer, following appearances at Hï, Ushuaïa, and Amnesia last year.
