Above & Beyond have announced the release of Anjunachill 01, the first compilation in a new downtempo series under their Anjunachill label

The compilation features tracks from Jody Wisternoff & James Grant, Dusky, Leaving Laurel, and Croquet Club, as well as unreleased tracks from the likes Planet of Souls, PROFF, Redkat, and Ad Harmonium.

It opens with recent Above & Beyond single Shall We Begin, which was released in January 2025.

“Following in the footsteps of our flagship Anjunabeats Volume and Anjunadeep series, Anjunachill 01 is our new milestone compilation – one that reflects where we’ve been and where we’re headed,” Above & Beyond said in a statement. “It’s a celebration of the softer, more meditative sounds we’ve always loved across the labels, and a showcase of the incredible new wave of talent on Anjunachill.”

The compilation is available now, as is a six-track limited-run vinyl sampler.

Anjunachill has its roots in a 2014 set at Burning Man’s Robot Heart stage, which led to Above & Beyond releasing the Flow State album. In 2020, Anjunadeep introduced Reflections Vol. 1, laying the foundation for a chillout label, which arrived in 2022, entitled Reflections. In early 2025, the label was rebranded as Anjunachill to mark Anjuna’s 25th anniversary.

Anjunachill 01 is mixed by Above & Beyond and includes a variety of artists from the Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep catalogs.

‘Combined with timeless gems, Anjunachill 01 celebrates the label’s rich heritage in this genre while looking ahead to the next generation of artists shaping its future in 2025 and beyond,’ the group said in a statement. Check it out here
