Semi Delicious, the label operated by Detroit-raised, London-based producer Demi Riquísimo marks its 20th release with a new EP from Leeds-based production talent, Kepler (pictured).
The four-track Step Up EP is released on 29 November, and can be downloaded/streamed here.
The EP opens with the title track, Step Up, described as a ‘sub-bass-driven journey that layers relentless percussive grooves, squelchy acid lines, and proggy chord hooks’, followed by the dancefloor-ready Swoon.
The B-side opens with Acid Flow – delivering the 303 goodies you might expect – before the track Separation closes off the EP.
The latest release follows on from Demi Riquisimo’s Perilous Joy EP, a five-track release from the label boss, which came out in August.
Riquisimo recently featured as part of 909originals’ #MyRecordBag series, where he served up his go-to 90s classics, including tracks from Tin Tin Out, Boiling Point, Corrado, Toxic Two and Snakebite. You can find that here.
