Australian electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL have announced details of a European tour next summer, hot on the heels of their latest long player, Inhale/Exhale.
The European leg of the Inhale/Exhale tour starts on June 11 at Plaza Mayor in Poble Espanyol, Barcelona, as part of OFFSónar. The tour continues on June 14 at Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, followed by a performance at AFAS Live in Amsterdam on June 17. On June 21, the tour will stop at Auditorium Cavea in Rome, before heading to Zénith in Paris on June 24. The final new date is set for July 5 at Crystal Palace Park in London.
“Europe has always been a place that has inspired our music, we’ve spent countless hours on dance floors over there,” the group said.
“We’re looking forward to bringing our new show to these cities and sharing this next chapter with everyone. There’s an energy in the UK and Europe that pushes us to keep coming back, and we can’t wait to feel that connection again.”
Tickets go on sale from 22 October, and are available here. In addition, RÜFÜS DU SOL have a number of dates lined up in Australia and New Zealand.
The group’s new album, Inhale/Exhale, is described as being ‘both lush and dynamic, featuring tracks that range from introspective ballads to festival anthems’, with the lead single, Music is Better, already topping dance charts in the US.
“This record is very special to us,” the group said of the new album. “It’s crazy to think we’ve been collaborating on this project together for almost fifteen years, to know that we’re five albums deep now and we’re as excited about making music together now as when we started.”
Hailing from Sydney, Australia, RÜFÜS DU SOL is composed of Jon George, James Hunt, and Tyrone Lindqvist.
