SCART announces ‘audio-visual rave’ at Dalymount Park

Dublin-based record label SCART has announced details of its launch party, taking place ‘underneath the stands’ at Dalymount Park on Saturday 2 November.

The intimate venue will be transformed into an ‘intimate, limited capacity, audio-visual rave’ for the night, with a stellar line-up of both music and video talent set to appear.

Fresh from supporting Dave Clarke at Index Dublin and Tresor Berlin, Cailín is set to headline the night, ably supported by a Trontsephore (aka John Braine, who recently released the Elephant EP on SCART) live performance; GOTD (Glen Of The Downs) an alter-ego of Rian Trench (aka Crispy Jason); and Rosanna, a close friend of the label.

All will be backed by an array of audio-visual abstractions, developed by AV maestro Juliana Scodeler and SCART’s resident video nerd, Fran Hartnett.

Hartnett, best known for his techno DJ sets, will bring his custom modular video system to add a layer of analog video synthesis and digital glitch effects to the experience.

As a press release for the event puts it, ‘We will be transforming the venue for the night, with an array of analog video synthesis and digital glitchery. Prepare your eyeballs and your dancing feet for a night of warped delirium and adventure, showcasing some of Irelands freshest electronic music artists in an audio-visual environment that will blow your brains into the future.’
