Sónar+D, part of Sónar Festival in Barcelona, has announced its programme of events for 2026, which will invite its audience to ‘explore new ways of engaging with technology’.

Sónar+D 2026 runs from 18–19 June, at a new venue, Llotja de Mar, bringing the entire programme into a single, central location.

The 2026 programme is structured around three central themes: ‘AI & Music’, ‘Beyond the Screen’, and ‘Digital Gardens and Dark Forests’, each of which will explore how technology is reshaping creativity, experience and the future of online.

The programme will include a variety of talks, panels, workshops, performances, exhibitions, community takeovers, and interactive installations, with highlights including appearances by sound artist Evicshen, music hacker duo Dadabots, experimental producer Shoeg, who eschews AI for controllers, synthesisers, and motion sensors, and jazz pianist Ignasi Terraza performing a duet with an AI system developed by UPC researcher Philippe Salembier.

The programme also features leading voices in the field, including Australian brand consultant Eugene Healey, writer and entrepreneur Yancey Strickler, new media artist Mónica Rikić, writer and technologist Mindy Seu, and artist and technologist Daito Manabe, who will discuss the use of AI in audiovisual performance.

A variety of tickets are now on sale, including the SonarPass+D, which includes access to both Sónar+D at Llotja de Mar (18 and 19 June) and Sónar at Fira Gran Via (18, 19 and 20 June), as well as Sónar+D 2-Day Tickets and Day Tickets, which cover events at Llotja de Mar only.
