Birmingham-based musician and producer Danny Kane has announced the forthcoming release of the Erotic EP on HiyaSelf Recordings on 16 January, which features vocal contributions from Ella Knight and KeziaSoul as well as a remix of recent release I Got You by Nightmares On Wax.
Kane, who has toured with, remixed, or produced for acts as diverse as All Saints, UB40, and Amp Fiddler, released I Got You, featuring KeziaSoul last month (check it out here) and as well as the aforementioned remix, a dub version of the track also appears on the EP.
The EP is headed up by new track Erotic Serenade, a slow tempo arrangement featuring vocals from Ella Knight.
Nightmares on Wax’s take on I Got You features ‘swirling chords and vocal fragments, making for a woozy sound that blurs reality and sinks you in a steamy slow jam’, according to a press release.
The EP has received early support from DJs and selectors including Damian Lazarus, Bill Brewster, Hector Romero, Kai Alce, and others.
