Toronto-based DJ and producer Zorza‘s work spans multiple genres, including techno, trance, hard dance, and hyperpop, with releases on labels such as Big Beat Records, Courage!, DopeamineWifi, SAIKE, Teletech, and Vermillion Trax. As well as multiple Boiler Room and festival appearances, she has opened for artists including Sara Landry, I Hate Models, and VTSS, and toured with TDJ and Shlømo, among others.
She’s set to appear on the lineup for the inaugural Auris Presents TRANSITIONS New Year’s Week event in Chicago, running from 26 December to 1 January, alongside more than 70 artists at venues such as Radius, Cermak Hall, Concord, Prysm, Outset, Smoke & Mirrors, and Spybar.
Ahead of that event, for the latest #MyRecordBag feature, Zorza shares her top tracks of the past year.
CSIRAC – Ninajirachi
“This whole album is incredible, def #1 album of the year.”
Forever Salty – Bassvictim
“I was a victim of the bass in 2025.”
Viscus (feat. FKA twigs) – Oklou
“This music video gets me every time. Also Oklou was by far the best concert I saw this year.”
Fuze – Skrillex, ISOxo
“Long live dubstep.”
i want the light to swallow me whole – daine
“My 2025 emo anthem.”
I’m The One / I’m The Sun – TDJ, Hannah Diamond, Aamourocean
“All my favs on one track, the mix of styles is just perfect.”
Falling – Frost Children
“Frost Children killed it this year. The whole album was on repeat for me but this track really brought me back to peak 2010s EDM. It’s the perfect blend of euphoria and melancholy.”
I Die – DJ Genevieve, Zorza
“Speaking of dubstep, I couldn’t finish this list without including maybe my fav track I made this year with my good friend Genevieve. It’s a slight departure from both of our usual sounds but I think we really did something special with this one.”
Thanks to Zorza for her selections. More information on Auris Presents TRANSITIONS can be found here.
