Claude VonStroke is set to release the Noche Clara EP on Crosstown Rebels on 5 December, his first output on Damian Lazarus‘ imprint.
The American DJ and producer’s EP features two tracks, Noche Clara and Bam Bam, a collaboration with Honeycomb, known for work as a beatboxer, producer and instrumentalist. You can pre-order the EP here.
It comes some two decades after Damian Lazarus first booked him to play in the UK, as well as marking a shift in focus in VonStroke’s career, which will culminate in the release of a new artist album in early 2026.
“I promised Damian I would make a Crosstown Rebels release over ten years ago, and it’s finally happened,” VonStroke commented. “He was one of the first people to ever book me in the UK twenty years ago. He’s come to play my festival, remixed one of my biggest tracks, and I’m somewhat obsessed with Lazpod. This release is a throwback and a new beginning at the same time.”
Through his label, Dirtybird, VonStroke has supported producers such as Fisher, Eats Everything, and Catz ‘n Dogz, and established a network of events across North America and beyond. As a press release put it, ‘his legacy is built on connection, humour, and an unfiltered love of the dancefloor’.
