Nurzat channels the emotive energy of late-night dancefloors on new single, ‘Sentir’

Barcelona-based producer Nurzat has released his latest single, Sentir, which showcases the diverse influences that have shaped the Istanbul-born producer’s approach to music.

Immersing himself in percussion as a child, exploring jazz, rock, and alternative grooves, Nurzat cites the likes of Nicolas Jaar and Portishead as influences on his deep, electronic sound, with intimacy and storytelling central to his own productions.

Since settling in Barcelona, he has honed his style to focus on deep, hypnotic grooves layered with atmospheric textures and percussive fluidity.

Over the years, Nurzat’s tracks have received support from artists such as Richie Hawtin, Blond:ish, Ilario Alicante, Gene Farris, and Argia, while his work has been championed by Mixmag’s Bruce Tantum as well as niche radio stations and electronic music hubs.

With the release of Sentir, which means ‘to feel’ in Spanish, Nurzat ‘channels the full spectrum of his musical journey, from the organic pulse of live percussion to the immersive atmospheres of deep, late-night dancefloors’, according to a press release.

The producer views the track as a statement of intent – ‘ to create music that lingers in both memory and movement’. It’s likely to appeal to fans of Enzo Siragusa, East End Dubs, Chris Stussy, Archie Hamilton, Kirik, Arapu, Mihai Pol and Fabe, among others.
