DJ Bone has announced the return of his Homeless Homies charity event to this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), on 24 October.
The 11-hour gathering, running from 11am to 10pm at RADION Amsterdam, will raise funds for the Homeless Homies Foundation and partner shelters worldwide.
The event features a comprehensive lineup, including Richie Hawtin (playing a rare opening slot), DJ Godfather, Dubfire, Elli Acula, LB aka Labat, HAAi, Nicole Moudaber, Deetron, and many more, as well as DJ Bone himself.
Originally launched in 2002 by DJ Bone and his wife Ahnne, Homeless Homies began as a self-funded charitable effort supported by income from Bone’s music and merchandise. Since 2019, it has taken the form of an annual event held during ADE.
“I’m very touched that so many amazing artists have responded and offered their time to help do some good for a great cause,” DJ Bone commented. “It’s a blessing to have so many friends and colleagues with huge hearts. Amidst all of the business and profiteering we see now, we’re showing that charity deserves and can absolutely have a consistent space.”
