Belfast-born producer Martha Dark has unveiled her latest single, Elusive, on London-based imprint 4th Set Records.
The track, which channels UK garage and jackin’ house vibes, follows on from her debut single, Promise, which was released on Spanish house label The Basement Discos and featured on Traxsource’s Best of Summer Hype list.
Elusive is a deeper cut, built around swung drums, warm sub bass, and chopped vocals, drawing on classic UKG textures and the legacy of producers like Jeremy Sylvester.
First sketched out on a Maschine MK3, the track combines chopped vocal samples, classic Korg M1 synths and Gospel vocals to ‘create a sound that’s innovative, thoughtful, and confidently left-of-centre’, according to a press release.
With over 150,000 Spotify plays on her debut and nearly 700 playlists under her belt, Martha Dark is a producer to keep an eye on over the coming months.
Elusive is available across all digital platforms from 4 July 2025, on 4th Set Records. More information can be found here. Photo by Andy Gilliand.
