#MyRecordBag – Reboot’s handpicked selection for summer 2025

#MyRecordBag – Reboot's handpicked selection for summer 2025

Reboot has a busy summer in store, with upcoming shows at Hï Ibiza, Cécille events in Amsterdam and Milan, and a variety of festival appearances.

His genre-bending approach to production has yielded output on Cocoon, Cadenza, Sei Es Drum, Pleasure Zone, Rawax and more, and he’s currently gearing up to release the Sunshine EP on Thuishaven’s Haven Trax. Inspired by his recent set at Thuishaven – the March appearance “wasn’t just another show – it felt special,” he says – the three-track EP is set to land on 6 June.

With summer (hopefully) just around the corner, for this week’s #MyRecordBag, Reboot serves up a handpicked selection for summer 2025 – “a blend of sunlit grooves and low-end pressure”, as he puts it.

Reboot – Savas

Savas serves as the opening track of my latest album On A Grind. It sets a moody atmosphere, yet it’s imbued with a sense of hope. This track is designed to draw listeners into the journey, providing a contemplative start that gradually unfolds into deeper rhythms.”

De Sluwe Vos – House Dingetje

“Released on Haven Trax, where my upcoming EP will also be featured, House Dingetje embodies the label’s eclectic spirit. After years of musical connection, I’m thrilled to officially join the Haven Trax family. This track’s funky and raw house elements perfectly capture the label’s essence.”

Rooléh – Leave the Past

“Rooléh represents the new wave of house producers, and Leave the Past is a testament to that. The track’s groove and vibe harken back to the golden era of Loophouse in the 2010s. Each release from Rooléh is a fresh take on classic sounds, and I eagerly anticipate what’s next.”

Lcaise – Devant Le Miroir (Silat Beksi Remix)

“I’ve long admired Silat Beksi’s work, and this remix showcases his ability to blend minimalistic grooves with rich vibes. It’s a modern take on deep, groovy minimal that resonates both on the dancefloor and in personal listening sessions.”

Hector Couto – El House

“Cécille Records has been a musical home for me for nearly two decades. El House by Hector Couto is a prime example of the label’s current direction – energetic, funky, and undeniably effective on the dancefloor. This track is a certified banger that never fails to ignite the crowd.”

Alex Caro & Sote De Lino – What Do I Gotta Do

“Being part of the MOODCHILD family, this track holds a special place for me. What Do I Gotta Do brings a UK Garage flavour that’s both refreshing and infectious. It’s a testament to the label’s versatility and commitment to pushing boundaries.”

David Gtronic & Reboot – Only a Dream

“This collaboration with my close friend David Gtronic marks our latest EP. Only a Dream ventures into a rougher, more intense territory, yet it’s crafted to be a dancefloor dynamite when the moment calls for it. We’re excited about the projects we have lined up for this year.”

Rhoowax – C’mon

C’mon has been a staple in my sets for a while. It’s a subtle tech-house track that, by the second break, transforms into a room-igniting force. A true sleeper hit that delivers every time.”

Andrew Azara – Cosmic Girl

Cosmic Girl has been spinning on my turntables for some time, and it remains a standout track. It’s a shining example of Cécille Records’ resurgence and the revival of gritty, funky Loophouse sounds. Absolutely love this one.”

Francesco Mami & Julien Chaptal – Reconnect (Reboot’s Outahere Rework)

“This fresh remix is a tribute to two producer friends whose work I deeply respect. It’s a minimalistic and playful piece, designed for introspective listening and deep connection with the music. Perfect for headphone sessions and thoughtful moments.”
