Joseph Capriati has released GU47: Montreal, the latest instalment in the Global Underground city series.
The two-disc compilation follows on from recent Global Underground mixes from Danny Tenaglia, ANNA, Joris Voorn, and Amelie Lens, and comes as Capriati celebrates nearly 20 years as a globally touring DJ.
The first mix, entitled Bright Disc, highlights Capriati’s house music influences, featuring artists like KiNK, Solomon, Louie Vega, Âme, and Fear-E, while the second, entitled Obscure Disc, focuses on his techno roots, with tracks from names such as Indira Paganotto, Len Faki, Julieta Kopp, Oscar Mulero, and Capriati himself.
