Faithless have teamed up with spoken-word artist Suli Breaks on a new single, Peace & Noise, which marks the dance act’s 30th year in the electronic music business.

The new single, released on 21 March, follows on from recent releases Find A Way and I’m Not Alone (Rest Well Maxwell), the latter of which was a tribute to the late former frontman Maxi Jazz.

According to a press release for Peace & Noise, on the track, ‘Faithless transport us back to the club, with rolling drums and atmospheric layers setting the stage for frequent collaborator Suli Breaks’ captivating vocals, to explore the tensions of modern life’.

Commenting on their work with Suli Breaks, Faithless said, “Suli Breaks was a star on our last album and here again he provides lyrical content that is both prosaic and profound, deepening the funky rowdiness of this track, which, in itself, is a little gem to warm everyone up for the warmth and genius of the forthcoming album, Champion Sound.”

This release follows a busy year for Faithless, including their third headline performance at Glastonbury and a sold-out UK/EU tour. The group are following this up this summer with a busy tour schedule that takes in performances at Isle of Wight Festival (UK), Kaleidoscope Festival (UK), Pinkpop (Netherlands), Pstereo Festival (Norway) and more.

Separately, Suli Breaks releases a new EP, Synthetic Reflections, on 22 March, the lead single of which, North London, is a personal homage to his home town. It also boasts some of the best artwork we’ve seen so far this year. More information here.
