Amelie Lens has introduced a new visual concept for her live shows, entitled ‘Aura’, which will be introduced at her upcoming show at Espacio Riesco in Santiago, Chile.
Commenting on the launch of Aura, the Belgian techno artist said, “Aura is all about energy! Mine, yours, and the energy we create together. With my new show I want to add an extra dimension without distracting from what matters the most to me: the music and the connection between all of us.”
The concept has been designed and created by Lens alongside production company High Scream Studios, and will explore ‘abstract artistic themes of light versus darkness, shadows, structures, movement and the natural world’, according to a press release.
“Working alongside Amelie Lens on her new solo show, Aura, has been an incredible experience,” commented Romain Pissenem, founder of High Scream. “The concept, which revolves around the captivating dance of shadows and light, perfectly aligns with Amelie’s unique vision and energy.
“I can’t wait for everyone to experience the powerful fusion of music, movement, and visuals in this groundbreaking performance.”
Lens, who is also behind the Exhale and LENSKE record label and event series, plans to incorporate Aura as part of her live performances around the world, following the Santiago appearance in June. Read more here.
