Primavera Sound Barcelona 2025 has announced details of its ‘Primavera a la Ciutat’ programme, a series of events taking place across Barcelona between 2 and 8 June.
Artists set to appear include Beach House, Kim Deal, The Jesus Lizard, Fcukers and Kelly Lee Owens among others, with seven different venues hosting gigs, including Sala Apolo, La (2) de Apolo, Razzmatazz, Paral·lel 62, LAUT, La Nau and Enfants.
Other artists playing exclusively as part of the Primavera a la Ciutat series include Northern Irish rappers Kneecap, Nilüfer Yanya, Peter Doherty, Tinariwen and many more – essentially a standalone festival all of its own, running parallel to events at Parc del Fòrum.
The Primavera a la Ciutat concerts are open to those already in possession of a full Primavera Sound Barcelona ticket, with access through a pre-booking system on the AccessTicket app. A limited number of individual tickets for each show will also be available for sale through Fever.
Elsewhere, as part of Primavera a la Ciutat, Primavera Pro will present 22 free daytime concerts at the CCCB, aimed at showcasing local and international talent, including artists from Argentina, Costa Rica, Bulgaria, South Korea and more.
‘Primavera Sound Barcelona is everything that happens during the three main days of the festival within the confines of the Parc del Fòrum, but also much, much more,’ the organisers said in a statement. ‘The fact that it is already a tradition that is part of the festival’s identity does not mean that it should not be highlighted: this specific urban format, which turns Primavera Sound into a multi-screen adventure, is one of a kind.’ Read more here.
