Legowelt set to release new album on 6 December

Legowelt, aka producer Danny Wolfers, has announced details of his new album, A Field Guide To The Void, which is set to land on Clone Records on 6 December.

The first single from the album, In a Blaze of Fame, was released on 22 November, and will be followed up by a second single, Taping a Broken Heart, on 29 November.

The 13-track album showcases Legowelt‘s ability to blend a variety of styles, with house, techno, disco, electro, and cinematic influences. The album is designed to be suitable for both club environments and home listening.

‘Despite being in the music game for more than 25 years the music from Danny Wolfers remains playful and refreshing,’ a press release to announce the new release put it. ‘Stylistically taking elements from his whole musical career and not commiting to the latest trend or any genre specifically, and low-key taking the piss with everyone who takes themself to seriously.

‘While many electronic music artists are stuck in their own void, busy pleasing the big room, Legowelt meticulously crafts rich textured soundscapes, balancing between cosmic exploration and the dancefoor, that evoke both nostalgia and futuristic visions.’

This album follows on from his previous work in the Clone Jack For Daze series. It will be available download, streaming and on vinyl, with both a black vinyl and limited edition blue marbled vinyl available.
