Huxley, Ramin Rezaie and BAKKIS launch R-Trybe label

R-Trybe, the brainchild of producers Huxley (Defected, Toolroom, Aus), Ramin Rezaie (Solid Grooves, Silky), and BAKKIS (Dumb Safari), has announced the launch of a new label.

R-Trybe, the brainchild of producers Huxley (Defected, Toolroom, Aus), Ramin Rezaie (Solid Grooves, Silky), and BAKKIS (Dumb Safari), has announced the launch of a new label.

The R-Trybe community was established by the trio as a ‘dynamic space where producers, DJs, and music lovers can connect, collaborate, and grow together’, as well as access educational content and get feedback – focusing on genuine support over commercial gain.

“Mentoring has been close to my heart for the last few years, and R-Trybe allows us to provide genuine guidance, refining skills and supporting the community,” Huxley commented. “This platform gives us full control to adapt and cater to people’s needs, not just our own gain.”

The launch of the R-Trybe label is a natural follow on from this, and each month, R-Trybe will run competitions, allowing members the chance to be featured on a V/A release. Each release will receive full promotional support, including DJ mail-outs, mastering, and professional artwork, managed by label manager Ramin Rezaie.

The first release on the label, R-Trybe 001, features tracks from the community’s three founders – Huxley contributes the disco-infused Depends, Ramin Rezaie contributes the track Pursue, and BAKKIS serves up the soulful Somewhere. You can listen to it here:

According to R-Trybe, ‘Aiming to expand its reach beyond just producers, R-Trybe also welcomes DJs and vocalists, encouraging collaboration across disciplines. By fostering a supportive network, R-Trybe aims to provide opportunities that many artists may struggle to find independently.’
