Taking its name from Ibiza‘s legendary sunset venue, few tracks captured the exuberance of the 90s like Energy 52‘s Café Del Mar.
The trance classic (which borrowed heavily from Wim Mertens’ Struggle for Pleasure), was the work of producers Paul Schmitz-Moormann, aka DJ Kid Paul, and Harald Blüchel, also known as Cosmic Baby.
It saw multiple re-releases over the years, remixed by everyone from Hybrid to Chicane to Tall Paul to Orbital, and now, to mark its 30th anniversary, Superstition Records has announced the release of a limited-edition box set, consisting of four 12″ vinyl EPs and an exclusive bonus 10″, featuring a myriad of re-edits.

Alongside the original DJ Kid Paul Mix and iconic Three ‘N One remix, the new release includes remixes from Nalin & Kane, deadmau5, Tale Of Us, Paul van Dyk, Orbital, Michael Mayer, Amirali and Latvian
DJ REZarin.
