Techno titans Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte have announced two exclusive back-to-back DJ performances, set to take place at Flanders Expo in Ghent, Belgium, on 31 January and 1 February 2025.
Following weeks of teasing on social media, the two DJs have finally revealed details of the two events, which will see Flanders Expo – the former home of the I Love Techno festival – once again transformed into a techno temple.
Some 20,000 attendees are expected each night, with performances set to be backed by a ‘spectacular visual production’ and a host of support DJs, details of which will be revealed at a later date.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join forces with Charlotte,” said Lens, whose LENSKE and EXHALE labels and event series have seen her travel the world in recent years. “The time has finally come to unite and create something truly unique and special for our communities. We’re one scene, united by our unstoppable love for the music!”
Elsewhere, de Witte, whose KNTXT brand is similarly taking the techno world by storm, said that it “feels incredibly right to join forces with Amelie Lens, our paths have crossed many, many times and it’s been fantastic to see us both grow in this ever changing techno scene. This is Belgian Techno united, and this will be huge.”
de Witte is no stranger to Flanders Expo either – this will mark the fourth year in a row that she has played the Ghent venue.
