Dockyard has announced details of a special edition of its annual showcase at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), with the Dockyard Warehouse Festival set to take place at Hembrugterrein on 19 October.
This event marks the 10th anniversary of Dockyard, with promoters Coen van Dongen and Tania Davison eager to use the event to showcase the future of the techno scene.
The festival features performances across four stages. The HE.SHE.THEY stage includes artists such as Cera Khin, Chippy Nonstop, SNTS, and Wax Wings, while two notable head-to-head performances on this stage include Adriel versus Grace Dahl, and Dax J versus SPFDJ.
Ukranian duo ARTBAT host their own stage with performances from Kölsch, Losless, KAS:ST, Olympe, and Fred Lenix.
The main Warehouse stage will feature Effy, DJ Gigola, Partiboi69, Moody Mehran, Emily Nash, and LB aka Labat. Elsewhere, the Laboratory stage will showcase darker, more experimental techno, with performances from Colin Benders, Noah Leveye, A/DRFT (Live), Fadi Mohem B2B The Lady Machine, and Phara B2B Stranger.
As the organisers put it, “Looking to the current state and future sound(s) of techno, our celebration of 10 years of the Dockyard brand is not meant as a tribute to the past decennium, but rather it’s a celebration of another 10 years of techno that are ahead of us.
“The future of Dockyard is creating acceptance and safer spaces for all communities, without judgement or prejudice. It’s about being open and not excluding ‘new’ ideas because they do not conform to what we are ‘used to’. We are excited to see how our most favourite genre will continue to evolve. Here also, we will do this without prejudice and with an open mind.”
Tickets for the Dockyard Warehouse Festival are available now on the official Dockyard website.
