Forbidden Fruit 2024 touches down at the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, Dublin, this weekend (1 and 2 June), and the annual festival has just announced two exclusive back-to-back performances to add to its stacked lineup.
Daniel Avery is set to go b2b with Imogen on the festival’s Undergrowth Stage, blending electro, rumbling bass, UK techno and choppy breaks; while bass queen Surusinghe will close out the Lighthouse stage with a b2b alongside up-and-coming local producers Sloucho.
Other artists set to perform over the weekend include Bicep, Nelly Furtado, Four Tet, Barry Can’t Swim, Nia Archives and more. Check out the day-by-day running order below.
Sunday tickets are sold out, and tickets for both the Saturday and the whole weekend are extremely limited – you can pick up your ticket here.
By all accounts, the weekend looks to be a bit of a scorcher, too, with the weather forecast looking pretty sweet for Kilmainham over the coming days.
Festival gates open at 14:00 on each day, and last entry to the festival is at 21:30. The last act wraps up at 22:45.
Also don’t forget that once the lights go out on the grounds of Kilmainham, the festival is hosting selection of Forbidden Fruit After-Parties taking place in various official locations around Dublin.
This includes artists like Barry Can’t Swim, DJ Seinfeld, Interplanetary Criminal, Sally C, and other DJs performing at spots such as Centre Point, Wigwam, The Grand Social, and Tengu. Tickets for these events can be purchased at www.forbiddenfruit.ie/ffnight24.
