DJ Bone has announced details of his final release for 2025, The Soapbox EP, on his own FURTHER imprint.
The release caps a busy year for the Detroit artist – in June, FURTHER unveiled six releases at once, including Bone’s album The End of Never, a compilation marking three decades of Subject Detroit, new work under his Doc Ciroc alias, and EPs by Yeti Mind Tricks, Serge Jansen and Azucy.
He also recently hosted the latest edition of Homeless Homies, an annual community initiative that takes place during Amsterdam Dance Event.
Commenting on the new EP, he said, “This isn’t about hype or nostalgia, it’s about truth. About standing tall when everyone else bends. The Soapbox is for those who still feel the music, who build, who give, and who never stop going further.”
The EP features five tracks, Shook Ones, Mind’s Eye, Passed the Past, Blessed and Under Surveillance, showcasing the variety of techno styles DJ Bone is associated with.
